Prepping Your Treasures for use: 

At Maison Gaia, we want your items to be as perfect as possible. Here are some simple steps to make sure your new organic cotton or linen pieces are ready for action:

For thick looped Organic Cotton Towels:

1. First Time Use: soak in cold water for 24 hours and let it drip dry. If you're in a hurry, the spin cycle and dryer work too!
2. Squish and Soak:Make sure your towel is completely soaked. Give it a little squish to help the cotton absorb water faster.
3. Patience is Key:It might take a couple of soaks for colorful or white towels and a bit more for natural ecru ones.

Teaching cotton to be absorbent is like a slow dance – water, time, and a dash of patience!

Dealing with Stubborn Towels: If your towels are being extra stubborn, try adding 1/2 cup of clear vinegar to the soaking water. Hard water or excess natural oils could be the culprits.
